![]() I have always loved using round coffee filters for preschool art projects, but I never knew what great potential they have for dolls. They are very cheap, readily available, and super versatile. With a bit of ribbon and some imagination, you can quickly transform that little circle into one of three delightful hats. Mob Cap: Simply center the coffee filter on your doll's head and secure it with a large clear elastic. Tie a ribbon around it to embellish, and add flowers with tape or glue if you like. Simple Bonnet: Fold the filter in half and place on top of your doll's head with the rounded edge facing forward. Cut a length of ribbon to go across the top and tie under the chin. Chef's Hat: Start like the mob cap, and then carefully pull up the middle section of the filter until it makes a large poof. Then tie a wide piece of white ribbon around your doll's head for the rim. Make an apron out of more coffee filters. |
