My stepmother was not really in to dolls or frilly things, but I remember that she really liked Raggedy Ann and Andy. She had a large set she displayed in the living room, and she liked to make paintings and drawings of them. So when I saw this little Ann for 50 cents at a thrift store, I had to snag her. Sorry about the nudity, but I wanted to take a picture to show off her cute striped legs and embroidered heart detail. It represents the special candy heart that was sewed inside her in the stories. Her pinafore also makes a cute dress for the mini dolls. Ruthie is modeling it, sitting on the wooden bench I got at the same thrift store for a buck.
