One thing I love about the Disney Princess and Me doll line is that they can often fit clothing from porcelain dolls, which are usually slimmer than standard play dolls. Thrift stores usually have plenty of these dolls on sale, and its a great source for inexpensive, historically accurate doll clothing. This Victorian gown came from a thrifted Angelina Collection doll by Angelina Visconti. These dolls are so different in size that's it hard to believe they can share clothes at all. The only problem I had was trying to fit Belle's huge hands through the dainty sleeves of the Angelina dress. The Angelina doll has a beautiful face, and I love how she looks in Belle's casual yellow gown and crown. She definitely reminds me of Snow White. The odd position of her arms would look better with something to hold, like a basket. I think this style brings out her youthful features.

I LOVE this idea!! I have several Disney Princess and Me dolls and a few BFC Ink dolls too and fancy clothes are hard to come by! Just bought two porcelain dolls just for the outfits! Genius! They were $4/doll which is actually, believe it or not, more than I usually pay for doll dresses but the ones I got look somewhat Steampunk and it had to happen!!! Love your blog!
